Week 12 of college went well. On Thursday it was my roommate birthday, so after classes a group of us went bowling. The Bowling place was close to campus, and had a retro vibe. A few times the bowling pins would not come back down because the machine was so old. Everyone had a good time, after bowling we went to Five Guys. It was my first time ever going, I loved the fries. This week class wise was a lot more calmer. 2 classes this week were cancelled so I didn’t seem like I was rushing to get things done, it felt like I had more time to complete things. I was also working on some scholarships that would go to my learning next school year at UNE. Even though this year is going well, I still want to find ways to make my next school year go well too. Overall, this week was good.
Week 12 was good. I had an exam this week so, similar to last week I spent a lot of time studying. However, I was able to get off campus for a drive to starbucks with my roommates. A couple of my classes were canceled for veterans day so I was able to spend some of my free time with my friends which was really nice. Tonight, I am going to both hockey games which will be very fun and I cannot wait. I am also going to go to the cosmic skate again with my roommate after the men’s game which I am super excited for.

Week 12 Reflection
Week 12 went relatively well. I had my last class of Careers in Pharmacy, which was bittersweet. I really enjoyed that class, but now I have one less thing that I have to worry about, which feels nice. On Thursday, my chemistry professor let us out around 30 minutes early, which was very nice and gave me extra time to get homework done before the weekend. I stayed on campus last weekend, but I went home this weekend, and I was definitely looking forward to it throughout the week. At this point, I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving break. Right now, I am trying to prepare myself for my two finals before break so that I can feel confident about them when they come. I am also really excited for spring registration, because I’m ready to start planning for how my life is going to look in second semester. I’m hoping I can get the schedule I have planned, but if not, my backup plan is ok. Next week I have my last chemistry exam, so I have been preparing for that also. Overall, this week was good, and I was able to balance my schoolwork with hanging out with friends and also making time for myself.
This past week I went home for the first time. It was weird in the sense that it was so damn normal. My best friend and my little brother were bickering and giggling, my mom was being loud and talking a lot. I got to see all of my little cousins and make dinner for them. I also saw all of my family members and was able to make dinner for them as well. I genuinely loved being home but it was my moms house so anything more than 2 nights is too much. I also cut and redyed my hair which is nice. I really missed my darker red color. I am looking forward to going home for winter break since most of thanksgiving break I will be in NYC. Overall the best week I have had in a while. I had a really chill and awesome birthday week.
My Week 12 as a college student went pretty well! At this point, it feels like a lot of my classes are slowing down for the end of the semester. I think that another reason why it might feel this way is also because, compared to the start of college, I have gotten better at managing my time in working on assignments for all of my different classes. Thanksgiving break is getting closer, and I have found that I am procrastinating a little bit more with each passing day. I am really excited that there is only about another week or so until break finally begins, and that I can go home for five days! With this time, I am really looking forward to getting to see my family and also eat food that isn’t strictly from the dining hall. As of now, life in the residence halls is going good, and it’s also nice that living there feels more like home now. I am a little nervous and somewhat dreading a few things that are going on next week. To start, I have to register for my Spring Semester classes on Tuesday. Truthfully, I am still not entirely sure how registration works. The process seems rigorous and a bit complicated, and I am also a little worried that the specific classes I want and am planning on taking will fill up before I can register for them, which, if this happens, means I will have to create a whole new schedule. In addition to this, I also have my 3rd chemistry exam at some point in the upcoming week, which I don’t exactly feel very prepared for. But hopefully, by taking some time to plan for registration and study for my exam, I will be able to manage both of these things when the time comes around. So, overall, while it feels like a lot is going on, I also know that I am nearing the final stretch of my first semester in college, and I am motivated to work hard in my classes knowing that break will be here very soon in what, hopefully, feels like almost no time at all!
Week 12 of college has been pretty good. Things are starting to ramp up in my classes since our last in-class exams are coming up, and we’re beginning to prepare for finals. I’m really excited for Thanksgiving break because I’ll get to see my family and friends for a few days. Honestly, I’m just excited to go home, I’ve been on campus for way too many weekends, and I would love to sleep in my own bed and see my dogs before I have to come back. It’s tough not being able to go home every weekend, but I’m making the most of my time here because of that. I have my third chemistry test this Thursday, and I feel about 50/50 on it. I started studying last week, but I still feel a little unprepared, so I’m hoping it goes well. Once I’m done with that exam, I can finally stop stressing. Chemistry is my last test before break, and I’m so glad I can just focus on that and enjoy the rest of the week leading up to my flight home. Thank GOD.
Week 12 was a busy one! I had an exam and multiple projects due, so I had to stay as focused as possible. However, I was able to balance it fairly well. On Friday night I spend some time with friends, which I really enjoyed. We played games and hung out in our lounge. I haven’t spent much time in the lounge in our hall until recently, but I’ve been enjoying it! I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving break and seeing my family and pets. I’m also so surprised that Thanksgiving is almost here! It feels like time has been flying.
Week Twelve went fairly well for me. I stayed here this weekend, and had fun doing homework and then binge-watching TV with my friends. I also enjoyed sleeping in so much. My roommate was also gone for the weekend, so I got to enjoy a single room for a bit. My friends and I also went to the Potato Fest that happened on Friday, and I loved it. I also found out I won a raffle for that too, so I’m very excited.
Week 12 as a college student has honestly been pretty good. I had 3 exams this week which was really stressful to try and find time to study for everything but overall I ended up getting really good grades for all of them and it was nice to see that my studying for it all actually paid off. I am starting to look forward for thanksgiving break because it will be nice to just have a few days that I don’t have to stress about doing something or studying. So overall I would say this week has been pretty good and noting too bad happened.

Week 12 Reflection:
I have gotten better at using my time wisely instead of procrastinating my work given all of the extra free time that I have now that I am out of season. One way that I have fixed this problem is by going to the gym. I set out slots that are similar to when I would have practice and go to the gym at that time so I have somewhat of a schedule that I have to follow. Having a packed schedule is how my brain works best, so I have given myself a lot to do so that I am less likely to procrastinate work.
Studying has certainly been more difficult now that we are getting closer to finals week. And with this, class registration is this Thursday at 9pm. This will be a stressful time because I have a Biology exam Friday morning. So in this short window of time I will be trying to study as much as I can, while also fitting in time to plan out my second semester classes. I can’t wait for this week to be over so I can lock in on studying and planning when I will study for my finals so that the information and content is fresh in my mind and I won’t forget over time.
