    Week 9 Reflection
Week nine was very busy and full compared to the last few weeks. I had my second exam in chemistry and a midterm in statistics. They were both later in the week, so I spend the earlier half doing a lot of studying and preparing. Wednesday was also a super busy day, because I had a meeting with my advisor to talk about next semester, two classes, and then orientation at my new job. Even though it can be stressful at times, I like having a busy schedule to keep myself busy and not just sitting in my room. Outside of classes, I have been reorganizing my room and doing random little crafts when I have time. I’m working on making a crochet blanket, so that is super fun. With all the heavy rain on Monday my window started leaking at the bottom, so I had to put towels down to prevent it from coming into my room. I talked to my RA about it, so hopefully we can get it fixed before the next time it rains. After this week I shouldn’t have exams for a little bit, so I’ll more time to do things other than study. I should also start working, and I am looking forward to that.

  2. Week 9 as a college student has been relatively good. I’ve been somewhat busy with studying for exams and doing projects, but compared to past weeks, I think that I am getting much better at managing my time and not overwhelming myself with work. Since I’ve been having more free time recently, I’ve also been able to spend more time with my friends. On Tuesday, we did a game and movie night in the dorm, and then afterwards, we went down to the beach around 1am to see the meteor shower. It ended up being too cloudy to see anything, but we all had a really fun time hanging out. Life in the residence halls has been good, the only complaint really being that people do not set timers for their laundry. Even though it annoys me to have to wait a long time for a washer or dryer to open up, it’s something I have learned to live with. So far, my classes are going pretty well, but I am dreading next week’s workload a bit because I have a chemistry exam on Halloween. Right now, I feel like I understand most of what’s going on in class, but I definitely need to dedicate a day to studying at some point next week. This term, I hope to hit a point where I am good at balancing my workload. I am also really looking forward to going back home for Thanksgiving break, which feels far away right now, but I know I will be here relatively soon. While I am a bit anxious about the amount of work I will have next week, I am also proud of how I have managed so far, and I am just trying to remind myself to take everything one day at a time.

Overall, this week has gone well. Yesterday was the last midterm I had to take for all of my classes. I believe I did well on all of them. I studied a lot for all of my classes and proud of myself for the progress I have completed when it comes to college work. This weekend my parents are visiting for dinner. I am excited to see them and to hear the many updates they have from home. I am also excited to set up my classes for second semester. I am hoping that I will be able to take more classes that are directed to my major. Like this semester I have to take statistics and it is not something that I am excited to learn about every week. I am looking forward to more opportunities and experiences that will be happening next semester. I feel like I am in a good place completing work on top and I will do good at brining that same work ethic to next semester.

  4. my week started out ok but then on Thursday I almost got hospitalized and it went severely downhill from that. I got really sick from my medical stuff and it wasn’t getting better, nothing was helping. I finally got it better after 7 hours of it being dangerously high. I was super stressed about it and still kind of am and a little stressed about school. I had my second feild site for my exploring teaching class I’m in a kindergarten class and they are all really sweet for the most part one little boy got removed because he was throwing his math materials and there are two who don’t speak English but one of them is starting to and when he tried to talk to me it made my day. I even got some drawings from two of them.

  5. Week 9 as a college student was good. It was homecoming weekend so I got to see my parents for the first time since moving in. It was really nice to see them. We went to the football game and the tailgate with some of my friends and it was nice to meet my friends’ family. The game was really good and I’m really glad our team won. My family also took me off campus to go shopping and eat. It was nice to have a break from the dining hall food and finally eat something different. I also went shopping at the mall and bought some new clothes. On Sunday before my parents left, we watched the girls club hockey game which was fun and our team also won. My classes this week went well and weren’t too stressful because I had my exams during the last two weeks. It was a nice change to not be stressed about an exam constantly.

  6. Week 9 as a college student has been pretty good and fairly similar to the previous weeks. I did not have any exams this week which was nice because I actually had some free time and did not have to spend most of my time studying. Since I have some gaps between my classes I am able to get a lot of work done so when I go home I don’t have to stress about it. Overall I would say it has been a low stress week compared to my last couple of weeks and it has been a nice break.

  7. I had a fun week 9! I’ve been figuring out my classes for Spring Semester, which I’m really enjoying doing! I really like being organized and planning ahead, so I’ve been having fun doing this. I really like what I have planned for next semester, I’m able to take a humanities class that sounds really interesting to me. I didn’t really have any official midterms, thankfully. However, I was preparing for upcoming exams. We had family weekend, which was a good time! I had lunch with my brother, and my dad came Saturday afternoon. I went to a tennis game, volleyball, and on a boat tour on the Saco.

  8. Overall, this week has been pretty good. I had my second exams for Chemistry and Biology and I did really well on both of them. I did a lot of studying this week to prepare for exams I didn’t want to cram the night before so I started studying the week before for both classes. I am also realy excited to set up my next semester classes, I’m hoping I can still keep my Wednesdays free because it takes the stress off me and gives me more time to study. Other than that I’m doing pretty well this week its crazy to think we are pretty much at the halfway point.

  9. Week 9 was busy and very eventful. I had an exam in one of my classes and a quiz I another. To place the studying I took breaks in between studying each topic. Other then that I spent a lot ofttimes with my friends and did some halloween preparation.

  10. Week 9 was good, I was very busy, but I am definitely getting into the roll of college, I think. I went to the clubs I normally go to and some exams next week, so I need to study for those. My other classes have been good; we went in the 363 for class on Monday for Introduction to Environmental Issues, and I beat my girlfriend in a game we have a rivalry at. I’m getting a decent amount of homework, but I’m starting to find a tippy balance between how I’m spending my time, which is a start.
