    Week #9 Reflection
Week nine was very uneventful, especially compared to last week. The week before I had two exams, including one midterm, so I was very stressed and spent a lot of time studying. Since I had barely anything this week, I spent a lot of time relaxing and doing things other than schoolwork, like starting my sourdough starter and working on a crochet blanket I started a while ago. Life in the residence halls is like how it has been, and I am still trying to catch up on sleep when I go home on the weekends. Taking a quick 20–30-minute nap on days where I feel extra tired gives me the energy to finish out the day. I don’t have any exciting plans for Halloween, but I am looking forward to going home and spending time with my family. My younger sister has a semifinal soccer game, so I am excited to watch her play (hopefully). Looking into the next few weeks, I have a couple of papers I need to start working on that are due towards the end of the semester. One is for my careers in pharmacy class, and I am looking forward to writing about which path I am interested in.

  2. Journal 22:
Week 10 as a college student has been going well. I found out that I got a 95 on my American Law Midterm, and I am very proud of myself for that. I studied a lot for that midterm and I am glad it paid off. I have had to complete some mini projects in some of my classes and those have gone well. I am a little stressed about the second semester, the whole process of me registering for classes is a little scary. I have met with my advisor and plan to meet with her again to talk more about the second semester. I believe though that the second semester will go well, it will be as good or better as this semester was.

  3. Week 10 as a college student has not brought much change. I feel like since classes are just getting out of midterms and stuff the course work has been pretty manageable and I have not had much I’ve needed to study for recently. It has been nice to have more down time in the evenings which helps so I can just relax or hang out with friends more rather than spending most of my time studying or doing homework.

  4. Week 10 felt like it was split in two; the first part of the week I was studying for my two exams that I had on Thursday, which were chemistry and biology, and trying to catch up on other assignments in other classes. I still went to the clubs that I normally go to, and I went to a few study groups for the first time. I thought they were pretty fun; we studied a little, got distracted, then studied some more. The second part of the week was much more fun because Halloween was on Friday, and I don’t think I failed the exams I took on Thursday. I am going to a Halloween dance on Saturday night which I hope will be cool, and I had a fun Halloween, but next year I think I need to get some more candy.

  5. My 10th week as a college student was good. It’s kind of crazy to think that we are ten weeks in. This week, I didn’t have a lot of school work so it was a nice break from the constant studying. However, I did spend some time working on a project with my friends in the commons. I also went to a trick or treat thing in the commons with a couple of friends on wednesday. Then we came back and went to an event that our RA set up to decorate our door for halloween. We made snoopy laying on top of a jack-o-lantern with the moon behind them. This was super fun. This Friday, my 3:30 class was cancelled so my roommates and I went to our friends’ hockey game that was hosted at the University of Southern Maine. We won 2 to 1! When we got home, we blew up an air mattress and had our friends over to watch a horror movie in the spirit of halloween. We watched one of the scream movies, and it was pretty good, and we had a lot of fun!

  6. I would say that my week 10 as a college student went relatively okay. This week, I finished up the last of my midterms. So far, two of my midterm grades that I have gotten back have been much better than what I was expecting, so I am hoping that this last one will be good too. I had surprisingly not that much work at the beginning of the week, which is what usually I find happens, but toward the middle of the week, I felt like I was running out of time to get everything done, and on top of that, I ended up having a cold for a few days, which definitely didn’t help my motivation. But on Wednesday, I had a lot of fun with my friends who surprised me in the dorm so we could all watch Dancing With The Stars together, which ended up being a lot of fun. On Thursday, I spent 3 hours in the library studying for my chemistry exam, and I didn’t end up getting back to the dorm until around 11 pm. Then after that, I realized I had to do my laundry, which took me the better end of 2 hours to do, so after everything was done, I didn’t go to bed until 1 am. Life in the residence halls has been good, and I have definitely found that I have become more used to it over time. This term, I am really looking forward to spending more time with my friends and going on break. As of right now, I am a little concerned about what classes I want to take next semester, because I haven’t really had the time to think about it yet. But overall, I would say that I am proud of everything I have accomplished so far by working hard in my classes and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone to meet new people and try new things!

  7. Week 10 is going well. I am really excited for next semester. I lined up some really cool looking classes that are actually part of my core and my major. I am going to take archeology of New England, Marine Biology 106, Environmental 104, controversial topics in education, and Pre-calc. I am retaking pre calc since I had to drop it. I dropped it so I can keep my financial aid but I am still going to classes, taking notes, and going to tutoring. I am going to take calculus over the summer at North Shore community back home in Mass. I have been super busy with a marine bio lab presentation all week that has to be 20 minutes long in a group with 3 other people. Its a pretty cool class but I’m hoping they get harder. I did environmental science for 4 years and the mar 105 is the basics so im breezing through it. Overall I am just tired and happy to be making money at work for Morocco. My favorite coworker had to quit due to family reasons so I am now alone on Wednesdays, which is my longest and hardest shift. I really miss my co-worker she was so fun but luckily she lives around here so hopefully we can hangout whenever I am finally free.

  8. Week ten has been pretty okay. I was having some issues with my roommate, but we talked things through, and there will be some adjustments, but it went well. I’ve also been trying to look after my health more, as October and November are hard months. My job has also been going well. I am enjoying the work I am doing, and my classes are going okay. Right now, I flip between feeling like I can manage them, and feeling like I can’t deal with the amount of work I have.

  9. Week 10 went well! It is so hard to believe that week 10 has come and passed. Time feels like it’s absolutely flying. It’s never felt this fast before. In a way it’s scary for it to be moving so fast, but it also reminds me to appreciate every second. Things are very busy in the coming weeks. I have some exams, big projects, and quizzes coming up. I’m trying to best manage my time, but it’s difficult when so many things are competing for it! However, I’m very happy with my college experience thus far.

  10. Stress has been higher in the past few weeks because exams are coming up again and the women’s soccer team made it into the semis of playoffs. There are a lot of emotions from the seniors on the team and from coaches stressing that we have a chance to win playoffs and continue into the NCAA Tournament. Everything has been rather hectic, but nothing that isn’t manageable when approached in the right way.

  11. My week was ok. Nothing really changed from what has been going on class wise. Friday I did get to see some friends but for the most part it was pretty much normal. the dorm hall is good sometimes people scream but it is a little entertaining to her people fooling around. I watched a lot of movies. I didn’t really have Any midterms so that felt a little weird for me. I feel like I have barely had any tests.
