Week 11 of college has been good. I had to take a Statistics exam that went better than how I thought it was going to go. I got the score I wanted to get, and I am proud of myself for reaching that specific goal. I have also been working with my friends a lot at the Forum, my shifts are better when they are also working. I went to a second semester registration presentation and now feel more confident about registering for classes next semester. I have my second semester classes are set on compass and I hope I can get them when registration starts. Overall, this week was good.

  2. Week 11 was a long week. I did a whole lot this week, much of it was fun things and not schoolwork, which is a weekend problem. I had a lot of projects that needed to get done this week, so it wasn’t much of a recovery week from last week. I had my least productive day this semester on Wednesday when I sat in the commons for 4 hours with the group and we didn’t accomplish much unfortunately. The good thing is that the project is coming along ok so far anyway. I spent a lot of time this week trying to find out how to sign up for spring semester courses, which has been a taxing process, and I don’t like the system they use to do it. I went to my first square dance and that was very fun, and I had a good time swimming this week too.

  3. The soccer season is officially over, and it is weird to say the least. Having no practice or lifts in the afternoons after class has left me and my roommate looking for anything to do that will pass the time. It never occurred to me that without having practices after class I would have so much time on my hands that I didn’t know what to do with. I have had a lot more time to focus on my academics, however, I am adjusted to a very busy schedule, so I feel somewhat lost in this world of ample free time. I know that sounds strange, but I enjoy having a lot to do in my day because it keeps me discipline. Having a lot of free time allows me to procrastinate more, so I have found that I am starting to struggle with procrastination more often than when soccer was in full swing.

  4. Week 11 was busy and stressful, I’m relieved that it’s over! Two of my “hardest” classes had quizzes and exams, and I had big projects due in other classes. I knew going into it that it was going to be a heavy week. Thankfully I got through it, and I did better than expected in my quizzes/exams. I spent much of my week studying, but I was able to balance it with some social time. I don’t have as much going on in week 12, thankfully. I do have an exam, but it’s in psych, so I will enjoy studying for it! I also went surprised my family and came home for dinner one night! It was a lot of fun. No one knew that I was coming home, so it was funny to see the look of shock on their faces. I look forward to the weeks to come.

  5. Week 11 as a college has been lighter on the workload but I have a lot of exams coming up that I need to study for which is already stressful to think about and try to find time to study for them. Other than those exams the week has not been too bad. On top of studying I was about to hang out with friends a couple of times and we went out and did a couple fun things so that was good. overall I would say the week has been good but I am not looking forward to all my exams next week.

    Week 11 Reflection
Week 11 was very boring. I did not have any exams or big assignments this week, so I did a lot of relaxing. The next couple of weeks are going to be very busy and full of assignments because the semester is getting closer to ending. I started getting sick on Tuesday night, but I am doing better now. I am lucky though, because this is my first time getting sick since being here. This weekend I stayed on campus for the first time in a while, just to give my car a break from driving two hours to and from my house every week. This was a good weekend to stay here since I am sick, and I was able to relax and recover. On Friday night I went to the women’s hockey game with some friends, and that was fun. The semester is starting to go by super quickly, and I am really looking forward to thanksgiving break and getting to see some of my family I haven’t seen recently. Looking into the next few weeks, I should have my last round of exams and then I can start preparing for my finals. I only have two, and they are both on the same day. Overall, this week was good and I’m looking forward for the last few weeks of the semester.

  7. So far I think college is going well. I like my classes and only seem to be struggling with math which is normal. I am trying to find a new room to live in but hopefully since my problematic roommate dropped out completely of college, me and my other roommate can work it out. Since she has left my roommate has realized how problematic she was to her and with me as well. I hope I might not have to move considering she is finally realizing how bad she was and I was probably going to have to pay for a double anyway considering most of the triples are full. I do not want to have to pay for a double but that’s only what is left for my options since everyone currently in a double wants to buy out their room instead of taking in a third. I am most looking forward to dissecting a squid in Mar lab this week and it’s on my birthday too which is so fun ( I do mean it. I love the anatomy of sea creatures and I have dissected a squid before. It is really fun). I am also excited to go home for the first time and see my best friend since 3rd grade who I have not seen since I moved in. I love Carly and I miss her so much.

  8. Overall week 11 was pretty stressful I’ve been trying to get my topics in my Chemistry and Biology classes organized because I have two exams in the next upcoming weeks. I’ve been studying the week before all my exams to better prep me on all the content that we went over in the units. Its been working really well for me but the downside is I now have sticky notes with everything I need to know for the exams everywhere so its a bit messy right now. Other than that I’m also in the home stretch of my volleyball season so even though iI’m glad its almost over I’ll miss that familiarity of it being in my schedule!

  9. I would say that week 11 as a college student went pretty good. I am feeling much better now that midterms are officially over, and now more than ever, I have noticed that I am really counting down the days until Thanksgiving break. I got a 100 on the chemistry exam I had last week, which was really a big highlight of my semester, and I think that I am doing relatively well in all of my classes right now! Life in the residence halls has been pretty good; it can just be hard to relax sometimes because of the noise, but otherwise it’s been okay. I am kind of nervous about registering for classes next week. The process feels a bit complicated, and I am also stressing a little because, as of right now, it looks like I am going to have a much harder and heavier workload for the spring semester. But I am still hoping that things will get easier and be less stressful than they seem when the time comes around. I have been having a lot of fun hanging out with friends, and my classes lately don’t feel as overwhelming. I know that it won’t always stay like this with finals week coming up soon, so I am trying to enjoy the “peace” while it lasts! I am really proud of how far I have come in adjusting to college life, with my classes and with forming connections with people on campus. I hope that I will continue to work hard and not lose focus as the first semester draws to an end.

  10. Week 11 was good. I have an exam next week so I have spent a lot of time studying this week. My friends and I have made it a habit to go to the second floor of the commons to study together. There, we spend usually around an hour if not more getting all of our assignments done together. This actually makes doing my work more enjoyable because I get to be in the company of my friends. On Friday, my friends on the hockey team had a home game so we went and watched. They didnt win but it was still fun to go and support the team. On saturday, we went to the mens’ hockey game which was good, they ended up winning 11 to 0 which was insane. After the game, my roommate and I went to the cosmic skate. I grew up skating a lot and I even played hockey for a year so it was really fun to get back on the ice.

  11. Now that football is coming to an end my schedule has begun to open up and I have started to have more time to myself and things that I want to do or places I want to go to. Unfortunately, my classes have done the opposite and I’m probably the busiest, regarding schoolwork, that I’ve ever been. I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving break and being able to see my family and have some time to myself as well. I think a break is much needed so I can come back fully locked in to school. By this time, I will surely be able to use some of my free time to get my work done. As long as I don’t fall off track with my schoolwork I think that much stress will be relieved once football is over and I have a new “everyday” schedule.
